III. Entertainments
1. The famous Kížík water fountain display, accompanied by lighting effects and music, can be seen in the grounds of the Výstavišt exhibition centre
2. A Bohemian Party – top-quality entertainment featuring classical music, ballet, a mime show and folklore
3. There’s an excellent choice of jazz clubs (Reduta, Viola, Agharta and U staré paní) and for young people dancing in rock clubs and discos (Rock Café, Roxy, Corona Club, Lávka and U zlatého stromu)
4. A Czech evening at U Medvídk (”The Bears’ Inn”) in the city centre.
4a: A 3-course dinner, a honey drink, a free half-litre of beer and a brass band. This pub has at least one notable feature: the biggest beer tap in Prague
4b: A meeting with the Good Soldier Schweik or an organ grinder can be also arranged
5. Dinner with a free beer and music at the New Town brewery or the Old Town pub U Vejvod
6. A 3-course dinner, with free drinks and a folklore programme at the U Maran Restaurant. This is a really very varied and attractive evening. Visitors see and hear typical Czech dances and songs, dulcimer music, traditional and not-so-traditional musical instruments and more besides. The comperes speak several foreign languages (3-course meal, free drinks)
7. Black beer and a snack are on offer at the U Flek brewery
A tour of the brewery can be arranged on Saturdays or Sundays, complete with a ”tipple” in the restaurant
