13. Karlovy Vary

– The most important Czech spa, it was founded by Charles IV and is famous for its 12 thermal springs and Becherovka, the locally produced herbal liqueur. A visit to the factory’s Becherovka Museum can be arranged, along with a chance to taste some of the factory’s output. Becherovka is said to be a good cure for upset stomachs.
